You make it sound like a competition of who can stand waiting the longest for Missling catalyst.

But of course the longer you wait the sooner you’ll get rich, but maybe only asymptotically so…

Hi Tom I agree. We will be stuck for some time to come. Today's ASM firmed up a few things. No Exact dates of course. It was interesting how the volume picked up near the end of today. Also looks like a 200K BUY MOC. I think the Tutes are still buying. We won't know the answer to that until 15th of August... crazy that they get 45 days after the end of each quarter before they have to file their 13 F/D/G forms. I think they should have to file monthly and do it on the 15th of each month. Two Cents More on my stink bid for today and I would have had a few more shares. I put the bid in at $3.61. should have put 3.63 and most likely the bid would have been filled. Yes I have enough shares. But $3.63 would have slightly lowered my average cost per share.
Working on building great grandkids College funding. Pretty sure back in 2015 I picked the right horse for this race.

I agree, hard facts are always desired. Just make a deal with yourself to give it until the end of the year, if you dont see an MAA filed you can go back to ranting and raving towards management.

Thank you hnbadger for sharing/finding all this good news surrounding the ASM meeting. We need light to dispel the darkness. We should all be thankful and show gratitude for what we have instead of complaining about what we or others are lacking. Feelings of greed, anger, resentment, jealousy are all the work of ol hairy legs. Turn away and rejoice.

re: shareholder tone/demeanour at ASM meeting
Not angry enough ( about no actions in support of cratered market cap/share price, missing their own timelines despite having expanded/expanding workforce, poorly constructed Rett trial requiring a do-over, LONG delays in sharing detailed results after trial completion, company opposition to letting shareholders provide feedback (NON-BINDING even) about increases in pay packages they vote to give themselves, about very low participation by them in owning/investing in AVXL shares, etc )

Wrong again, the stock will go down on Thursday. People will digest the ASM news and realize that 2024 is another wasted year with nothing happening for the next six months. It's the same old kick-the-can strategy.

The clown is planning to run another Rett trial, but bigger this time (not necessarily better design). You're looking at 2030 for the Rett data readout. Just another kick-the-can strategy to string along WGT. Ten years and still no NDA submission, no approvable data—just "soon" and "around the corner" timelines.

It's a key battle zone for the price here at 3.75 area, support has been holding at critical support around 3.60/3.65 and now we get to watch what strength or weakness resistance has around 3.85/3.95. Anything can happen in this uncertain zone. Resistance continues every step to 4.00/4.05/4.10/4.15/4.20 and could turn right around and tumble down again. So I'm not seeing any decisive clues here yet, while there's still 7 trading days to end of June. Will some index and hedge funds dump shares next week.

More SHM notes from stjernerogvann on stock twits-
1. CM said we should assume by YE for MAA filing...but CM also suggested that was a CYA date. FWIW, 07SEP2024 should be around the date of filing if we follow the regulatory timeline breadcrumbs.
2. CM said the paper that will be released will make us happy. Great data across the board (endpoints, biomarkers, MRI) and we will be happy with the dose dependency, too.
3. OLE info will be a key component to the filings.
4. There is a Rett conference this week and something should be announced there (probably regarding new trial.)
5. The new Rett trial will be 2x as large as the last trial, will have a larger % of placebo patients, and the inclusion/exclusion criteria will be slightly modified based on lessons-learned.

This sounds similar to what he said at the last ASM: "Hope you will understand why we did the way we did." The guy is just kicking the can down the road. Peer review is another gimmick he has pulled.

“ Except, what’s “eaten” in cellular autophagy are the wastes and toxins that are self-produced by diseased cells. Eliminate those and cellular processes can continue normally, in good health.”

The only other way to “trigger” autophagy is to fast from food. The longer you fast the greater Autophagy that takes place as the body scavengers for energy and ends up burning the bad cells in the process.

I wonder if this has an impact on weight loss with a proper diet? As diet and gut health improve so does mitochondrial dysfunction.

“Mitochondrial disease can cause a vast array of health concerns, including fatigue, weakness, metabolic strokes, seizures, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, developmental or cognitive disabilities, diabetes mellitus, impairment of hearing, vision, growth, liver, gastrointestinal, or kidney function, and more.”

Cheers!

I listened to her call, Hosai. It seemed that she wanted to, hopefully, demonstrate that the Annovis drug could ameliorate symptoms, like Aricept does, over a six month period, but then have ongoing disease modification effects - the best of both world. I have never been invested in that and certainly am not the best qualified to comment, but that seems to be the thrust of the trial. The company is pretty much out of cash, and this is a big trial being proposed, so getting the necessary financing would seem to be an extremely dilutive undertaking.

Misleading as usual, giving tidbits to the WGT crowd. Peer review looks to be a non-starter, another hogwash. EMA filing might be pushed to next year, and approval, if it comes, looks like 2026/2027. FDA filing? Probably never. Year 2024 is half gone, and the rest will be vacation. The PD trial was promised in February 2023, and 1.5 years later, they are still planning.

Fund managers of funds that own a position are allowed to attend annual meetings. You should learn the difference between certified financial analysts and fund managers.

BTW, I’m not trying to impress anybody. I’m simply stating a fact about how these things work based on my experience. Instead of getting your back up, you should listen more and talk less. You might even learn something.

Annovis CEO wants to do an AD phase 3 which is an 18 month disease modification trial where the data is also taken at 6 months as a seperate 'disease modification' trial for which they would submit an NDA based just on these 6 months. Seems like this would be in danger of jeapordizing the overall 18 month trial? Even with the new FDA guidance 6 months seems too short.
